bel pò di nuovi arrivi nella distro, date un'occhiata. per
settimana prossima dovremmo avere disponibili sia il cd split
mastic/forest yell che il 10" violentbreakfast/pyramids, che
(ATTENZIONE:) il 7" split fra antithesis e cutting pink with knives. il
7" degli unquartomorto sarà invece disponibile da sabato 3 maggio,
suppergiù. continuiamo così, facciamoci del male. nel frattempo
pubblicizziamo il concerto sopra, che male non è, voi che dite?

la
cosa più importante è che ora siamo in due. un benvenuto a simone,
prego! mi imbarazza un pò spendere parole su simone, siamo amici da
anni e ci si intende senza troppe frasi di circostanza: cosa che mi
piace parecchio. tdd records è nata in seguito ad alcuni discorsi fra
noi due, e simone c'è stato a quasi tutti i concerti in cui si è messo
il banchetto, è stato costantemente aggiornato sulle uscite, spesso ha
detto la sua riguardo a varie cose. il passo è quindi assolutamente
naturale, e mi rende parecchio felice. potete scrivere a lui tramite

inoltre, abbiamo due nuove uscite! tdd*09
è il 12" picture disc [+ cd-r] "L'ipotesi della stipsi" dei D.U.N.E.,
bello da vedere quanto da ascoltare; immaginate un incrocio fra isis e
breach da una parte, e il post rock con i suoi tempi rallentati
dall'altra, abbassate DI MOLTO la temperatura e quasi ci siete. tdd*05
è il cd d'esordio dei Magdalene, da pisa un gruppo giovane e benvestito per fans
[giovani e benvestiti anch'essi] di Envy e Sed non satiata: ascoltateli che
questi sono bravi, ma tanto.
voi scrivete per avere le vostre
copie. noi aggiorniamo la distro, intanto, e prepariamo una cosa bella

il 12" dei Dead elephant è finalmente disponibile: si chiama
Lowest Shared Descent, è bellissimo a vedersi ed assolutamente
devastante ad ascoltarsi! più informazioni a riguardo sono disponibili qui,
mentre se volete il disco, "mail me". grazie a tutte le etichette
coinvolte, grazie ai Dead elephant, grazie alle persone di freego per
la serata di presentazione, ieri sera: è stata una festa speciale.
se qualcuno dovesse passare a bergamo il 2 febbraio (ma teoricamente
l'invito vale anche per la gente che a bergamo ci vive già) date
un'occhiata al volantino sopra, e ditemi se non sembra già una bella
serata. io fossi in voi verrei. maggiori info qui, tra l'altro.
ah dimenticavo, nel frattempo gli Elefanti se ne vanno in Francia a
fare un giro. e credo pure a suonare. se qualcuno dovesse passare in
Francia (ma teoricamente l'invito vale anche per la gente che in
Francia ci vive già) date un'occhiata alle loro date. no, non ripeterò la gag con babel-fish in francese.

dopo più di un mese dall'ultimo aggiornamento ecco un pò di novità,
disposte in ordine - fino a prova contraria - del tutto casuale: # è
uscito il 7" split fra i milanesi (più o meno) Al freddo ed i tedeschi
(ma anche un po' toscani, sono confuso) Failed suicide plan; è bello,
elegante, gioioso e le grafiche le ha fatte una ragazza ammodo; se lo vuoi scrivimi una mail, oppure vai sul link appropriato
per avere quante più informazioni possibile. # il 12" dei Dead elephant
dovrebbe essere nelle Nostre Avide Mani il 10 gennaio, che non vedo
l'ora perchè prima di tutto voglio ascoltarlo io. # la distro è
aggiornata e sostanzialmente funzionante (questo invece è un discreto
"ordinate dei dischi").
se hai letto fino a qui meriti un regalo a priori, fra l'altro.

disco dei Corea, "Quien encuentra a la madre conoce a los hijos".
coprodotto insieme ad Astoria records e Horror vacui theatre. sul myspace dei Corea (a.k.a. qui)
potete trovare un estratto dei pezzi di questo gran disco, che rimanda
a gruppi come Breach, Mogwai, City of caterpillar e At the drive-in,
miscelati dal gruppo in modo molto personale e -attenzione!- immediato.
